Who else here /too dumb for their dreams/ ?
>Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a scientist
>Didn't matter what as long as it had to do with space
>Fucking fascinated with space
>Spend all my pocket money on books about space
>Get a telescope at age 9
>Get good grades until I was about 14 or 15
>Then my grades in science start slipping
>Work twice as hard but I can't seem to understand math or physics no matter how hard I try
>tried other methods, extra classes etc
>Slowly start understanding I'm just not smart enough to be a scientist
>End up giving up after getting awful grades in scientific subjects in senior year of high school even though I almost worked myself to mental exhaustion
Tfw now I work a dead end job in a shitty office and spend my evenings looking at the stars with my telescope from the balcony of my shitty appartment and thinking of how I wanted to understand space. Life isn't fair.
