You can easily do it
Just kill someone in a secluded place with no witnesses and leave no evidence (something that can lead to your DNA).
Most homicide cases are solved because the victim and perpetrator knew each other.
You'd be surprised how many murders go unsolved. This is how serial killers work, and they only get caught if they get caught in a pattern or get sloppy
