Post your dream jobs and why you can't have them (right now or ever)

I wanna fly helicopters but you have to pay for the training

If we as a species ever met aliens, I'd like to be a researcher/historian on earths behalf on learning about their history, culture, language, technology, etc.

It can't be done for obvious reasons.

Porn star

I'd like to get paid to jerk off, something I do a few times a day in my dirty basement bedroom. I'd like to be paid just for my appearance without needing to do anything terribly physical or mentally draining. Just sit there with a hard cock, get pictures, do videos, fuck women for hours on end while they get all the shots and angles they need.

Why can't I? I'm a fucking pale fatass robot and even if I spend the next 5 years getting myself into shape, I'd be too old at that point. Maybe if they start a series of girls getting worked over by ugly guys.

I wanna be a youtube/twitch star

I'm not original/creative and I refuse to be just another copycat
>>
>>27950461
This feel is too real, I absolutely cannot bring myself to become some FineBros fag

I want to make something new or unique, create a new genre
>>
>>27950461
>>27950586
I know this feel too.

It sucks when I find a youtuber/twitch star that I really like, and then I realize that it's because we have the same sense of humor and I'd just be called a copycat if I did it.

I wish I had a funny accent to use as a gimmick, maybe I need to learn a foreign language and do videos in it.

What really sucks is how much work, time, and money it takes to create content, too. I have some decently successful videos (the best one has 36k views), but they're all reviews and I can't constantly be buying shit and testing it extensively enough to make good content.

I want to be a gentleman of leisure but it's not Vienna or Paris in the 18th century anymore.

>>27950617
>tfw even if you became "original" there would actually be someone out there with the same sense of humour as you and you just wouldn't know it, so you will never be a true special snowflake

>>27950638
I can't even do reviews because I don't know what to say about things. "It's good I like it," the end.

If it's vidya it's good to break it down:

-Gameplay
-Atmosphere
-Mechanics
-Controlss
-Graphics
-Sound/Music

Then if you're going for the "comedy" effect show some specific clips from the game and make a joke about them

Two things

>astronomer because I love everything about space and the stars, I spend tons of my free time studying those subjects
>I'm hopelessly shit at math and advanced math is 95% of the job
>knowing I can never do this because of my abysmal math skills is pretty soul-crushing

>park management because I have done lots of seasonal work for my city's parks and recreation department, it seems easy and pays well
>you need a fucking park management degree for this or else you won't even be considered
>I recently graduated with a history degree at the age of 25 (didn't realize park management was something I would like to do until after graduating) and the thought of going back to school makes me want to kill myself

Seriously, I want to be just a regular employee on a cruise ship but I can't do it because I don't know where to apply and the closest office is in Quebec.

Then get a load of this feel

I first thought about making Youtube videos around 2011 or so when Minecraft was still new. I didn't know jack shit about recording and couldn't get it to work, also my computer and internet just sucked back then so I dropped the idea.

Later that year Minecraft videos suddenly blew the fuck up and so many people built their entire careers on it. Now it's just cancer but still. I would have been somebody.

Yeah that works well whenever you have enough brain to properly analyse these things.

I just like games if they "feel" good or satisfy my autism
>>
>>27950661
It's actually pretty easy to do reviews if you put in the work beforehand. Look at the various points that make the product unique or that are important with every product of its type, and then figure out what you think about those points. You can also go look at other reviews and forum threads etc and see what people say about the product, and that'll give you ideas for things to discuss.

The biggest thing that people do wrong with reviews is that they buy a product of a type they've never owned before, and then say it's incredible because they have nothing to compare it. People will be much happier with your review if you actually compare it directly with competing products, it helps them figure out what to buy if they don't own anything, and if they already own the other thing it helps them understand if the product you're reviewing is worth the upgrade.

Also, a script is critical, and makes things so much easier. It doesn't have to be word for word either, just write down the points you want to cover and it'll keep you from getting stuck or falling off track. I also find it much easier to shoot a whole bunch of footage without dialog and then dub it.

Mine's to be a great physicist.
The thing that's holding me back is 1.working with computer programs, I don't have a fucking clue as to how they work. 2. Even if I make a scientific breakthrough, it will either go unnoticed, or SJW's will whine about your shirt instead. 3. Besides quantum mechanics, I wouldn't know any fields in which you can do interesting research
