So I decided I would try to improve myself but I've already fucked up. I wanted to get in shape and exercise while I dieted (keto) and I bought 2 dumbbells that are just a bit too heavy. They're not impossible for me to use but I doubt I can do any meaningful exercise (I can't really hold them above my shoulders). Any tips?

Yeah idk what else you could do with them. If one is too light to goblet squat you can stack them lengthwise and use them like that

How heavy are the dumbbells? You can do farmers walks with them in your backyard, just hold them in each hand and walk as long as you can hold them. If they are really light it wont do anything, just a couple 100s and do farmers walks

What's so hard about going to the gym? Just read the sticky on /fit/ and do SS+GOMAD for 6 months. Nobody in the gym cares about you, when I look around everyone is in their own little world and if someone tries to start a conversation with you just say "Man you know dont fucking talk to me. Im fuckin..Im here to train Im not here to talk" Works everytime

do negatives with them.

negatives are when you start at the end of the action and slowly undo said action
eg. starting at the top of a pushup and slowly bringing your body to the ground.

when you can not do said excersize you should start with negatives

I didn't work out for a while. I used to curl 40lbs, now I'm back at 35. It's kind of pissing me off. You really loose progress fast when you stop.
