Is anybody else unable to tell what the real world is like compared to what they see on the internet?
I've been inside for so, so long that I don't know how people act anymore. All I know in terms of people are poorly behaved kids, fedora tipping atheists who just mercilessly bully people, a seemingly man hating society and so much more bullshit.
Every day, what I see makes me think it'd be better to kill myself than keep living in this world with how it's going, but then I wonder if people are really the same in real life.
I just have no idea anymore.

I guess that's true. I haven't been outside of my self imposed prison (excuse possible leddit/tumblr terminology) since I was really young. I just hope that the internet really isn't something too similar to the real world. I don't want people who were oppressed in the past to keep pushing until whites and males are the oppressed ones.
I don't want the world to be or become a place like twitter where people mindlessly spout "You only live once!" and other dumb stuff. I want people to keep being philosophical, never stop questioning things, but I'm scared of that dying out.
But yeah, over all, I just want a story of my own. I'm hoping that when I finally get out and try to become a normie as best I can, I'll at least see and experience things that I'll be able to tell my grandkids about some day and be proud of.

Some things like that are fine. Hell, I'm even one of those people who's completely okay when people around me reference 4chan or memes in real life. They're just having fun, I suppose.
What I really dislike is when people say things that really require no thought to say. "You only live once" is really the best example I can come up with, since it betrays a complete lack of cognition when it comes to the people around you or the possible consequences of your actions, as well as the universe in general. I guess I might just be overthinking some things.

The prison I mention is that I dropped out of school at about 12. I've been sustaining myself since then by reading up constantly for more than half a decade on things I was always interested in, but they never taught me in school (Don't worry, I didn't just read "fun stuff", I'm still reading all the basic and practical stuff too).
Regardless, even though I've kept my brain in shape somewhat, maybe even slightly above average in my knowledge on arguably useless stuff, I've had too many medical and emotional problems caused by being here for so long. The story goes on far before I dropped out of school, but I don't want to type a blog post.

It reminds me a lot of my times spent in the hospital in the past for some reason. Everyone else seems to disagree, but the hospital is very comfy, especially during a moment of respite after a long, painful experience.
Tfw they finally wheel you back to your hospital room after scanning or something and the drugs you're being pumped full of, mixed with exhaustion make the pain go away and cause you to get sleepy, so you're ultra comfy in the bed (relatively speaking) until you finally pass out for a nap
People are significantly less shitty in real life than they are online, most are self involved but polite in interactions. People won't even notice you exist unless you make an effort to interact, and adults don't pull the type of interpersonal aggression that goes on in high-school. If someone doesn't like you in most cases they'll probably just try to politely excuse themselves from interacting with you
You actually have to get out there and interact with people to experience it though and that can be hard for the average anxious self-hating robot. Feelings of inadequacy and insecurity can easily morph into hatred for the people that inspire those feelings and a resentment towards the society you feel alienated from. I'm not sure if that is accurate to your specific experience though.
As to judging people for making simple statements you should recognise that the sum totality of a person can't be assumed from every sentence they say, and sometimes a generic statement is just the easiest way to move a conversation along.

Poorly behaved kids have always resisted. Think about old people who tell you stories of how they acted like brats when there were kids.
"Fedora Tippers" Are just people who are hooked on lifes edge, They want too be on society's newest thing. This season it's fedoras. Atheists are actually really chill and don't bully people. They are legit some of the chillest people you will meet. The man hating society thing is seriously over-blown. Like i said earlier it depends on where you live.

to be honest with you mate, i've been disappointed. i feel like i've been screwed, i expected that there would be burning issues of the day about which people would speak, due to the horror of it, but in fact, the attitude is to curl up like a beaten child and go away to fantasy land, or to otherwise detach.
now knowing that there is such things in the world, they completely occupy my horizons, i can't think about the mundane when such things occur, i'm distracted, i don't work hard, i shit around wondering when the next man will explode.
its absurd to rationally know that you have to get a job, and yet to believe that working towards any long term goal is futile, and that the only worthy life is spent chasing loud noises.

Major metropolitan areas are practically the internet: in real life. You'll regularly see, hear, or be confronted by a loon at least daily. Any place else is rather stable.

No, but I have had quite a few experiences with the hospital in my time. My entire family's genes are pretty much cucked beyond belief, mixed with my taking care of myself being awful these past few years, so I've been in and out quite a lot.
The last time was because I had a kidney stone, but I thought a previous injury I had had fucked up even more somehow because of the pain, so I went to the hospital for it.

It was agonizing pain for me and I have a pretty high pain threshold and tolerance.
Because of that, people said it seemed like I made it look easy, but it sucked dick. I was exhausted by the end of the night like I said and just gave in and passed out for a nap, but not before a doctor came in with one final kick in the testi-cools by telling me I either needed to piss in a cup or put a catheter in for a urine test.
Spent 15 minutes trying to pee in the cup, but I couldn't on account of my prostate being tighter than a knot, so before I was finally left alone, I had to get a catheter put in for the first time in years.
Tfw horrible, burning, stinging pain constantly being felt in primarily the head of your genitals while you make involuntary vocalizations and writhe because of it.
