Many of the "high end" "pet foods" are both nutritionally complete and very tasty.
I lived off of Purina "Large Primate Chow" for a couple of years of grad school.
Get a big fucking bag of rice and dried beans, spices, and some meat occasionally, when you can afford.
And a 1 a day vitamin.

Pasta rice and beans. Sausages are usually way cheaper than other meats too. You can make pasta and literally only put butter and salt on it, no sauce, and it will taste okay. When you're extra hungry or feeling fancy then fry up a sausage to put in the pasta. Eggs are also great.
Avoid anything premade or commercial like pop tarts or cereal or hot pockets or stuff like that. Just get raw stuff and cook it. It's way more filling for way cheaper that way.
