It's hard to say of it's a gift or a curse. I have a little brother with it and you can clearly tell hes an autist. Hes a fucking genius and can work out math problems within seconds that would take me hours. But it's sad knowing that he can't put it real use and will never really have a life and will probably have to treaten like a child all his life. Real shame. It's hard to say. He's only 8 and that's the most complex thing I've seen him do. He excels in all math subjects at school with ease. Wether or not the numbers mean something to him is beyond me. I've seen autist do overly complex mathmatical equations but have no idea what the fuck they even mean they can just do it. Which is what I assume is a human calculator.

I have aspergers and I have no friends or social life, I work in childcare which is extremely social and I am talking with the kids and parents all day, there are so many issues i have like i am really slow at writing and doing paper work if it is poorly organised (which i feel it is) and I dont think i can keep up with it, i also struggle with reading the body language of the parents i speak to and i am terrified of talking to some. I Most are really nice and i follow the exact process i was taught to use but i feel my co workers and the parents alike know there is something wrong with me. I am very friendly and try to be helpful in every way but I will never truly have real friendships with any co workers. I am 20 in a few days and I am terrified because I'm getting older and one day i wont have my mum or anyone else to take care of me. I will have to depend on myself alone or be forced to live off the state which i will not do as it is what my dad does, there would be nothing to look forward too, no travel, no great luxury just an empty existence.

It's propaganda. The current climate is designed to be unlivable without the state paying half, because people are willing to take jobs that don't pay enough. Even the hopefully eventual $15 federal minimum isn't enough to live alone in many places in the us.

There's nothing you can do about it other than minimize your 'creep' factor by going to the gym and taking care of yourself, maybe even getting plastic surgery. I don't really care if I'm an autist or not. I just know that I feel inferior to almost everyone around me. It doesn't matter if it's autism, poor ubbringing or bullying that made me this way. Maybe it's all three of those things. My life is shit. The cause doesn't matter.
