He said something along the lines of 'I wasn't like that before I met her. Soon after we met she thought I was such a good guy that I just pretended to be, and eventually just became what she thought I was. I was good to her because she expected and deserved it'.
When he died she didn't want to live anymore. She told her daughter's that she'd trade them all in to have him back and she became depressed until she passed away much later.
It's such a nice story to me, makes me think that the 'American Dream' is attainable even later in life, it's possible to get a young traditional girl who will be so faithful that she will want to leave with you. Try to better yourself in any way possible, be punctual and dominant to her when you do find her, give her no options. Try to act like him, I'd hope she'd arrive for you. First, condoms are simply a big huge help against unwanted consequences, and not a guarantee-even with diligent use. And the reason why this is so, is obvious: sex is a sloppy messy not-sterile enterprise where people aren't (often) thinking exactly straight, or if it were, then there really would be no point in the end. You can still catch xyz just by touching the groin area, if the person is shedding and you somehow didn't notice it. Whoops, it might be something as "minor" as HSV2, but no matter how you might try to play it off to salvage your stupidity, it's still a negative consequence.
Furthermore, if it were really true that there are no negative consequences to sex, full stop, which is what you've said more than once, then very obviously, there would in fact be no unintended pregnancies, STDs passing around (these are actually blowing up over the past few years, one of the parts of modern life that is actually getting worse)
