Not tue. I lost around 50lbs over a year by eating less chocolate and drinking less sugary drinks and running 5km a few times a week. It wasnt a 'diet', I just stopped eating so much bad food. it's not really that simple, as a general rule this works but every body is different. how do you explain people who put on muscle easier, or gain fat faster, or lose weight quickly? genetics plays a large role and you have to cater calories to your personal needs

I think Slim Fast honestly works the best for beginner calorie counters. I've lost a few lbs on it. Yes, i've been hungry, but it works and eventually you get use to eating less.

Replace 2 slim fast shakes with breakfast and lunch

You may have 3 100 calorie snacks during the day. I personally like smart pop 100 calorie popcorn bags, yasso frozen greek yogurt and special k chips

and a 500 calorie dinner. Dinner should be your last food intake of the day. Do not eat anything after 7pm. Work out 30 minutes a day and drink plenty of water.

Use a calorie tracking app that helps too.

I just looked up the TDEE for someone that is 6ft4, just to maintain consists of 3000+ calories. I added in 90kg weight for that height since that is often what 6ft4 "muscular cunts" are usually at and or want to achieve at minimum. This is with MODERATE exercising as well.

Former fatty here- let me give you my experience.
I used to pretend that calories were less than they were so I could deluded myself into eating more. Here are some examples of my intentional self delusion

I used to go to the supermarket and switch the mixing spoons and the tablespoons. Then I would tell myself that a tablespoon is a wooden spoon so I could have a 'tablespoon' of peanut butter that is actually a large wooden spoon.

I used to tell myself that oil doesn't count and would have 4 or 5 tablespoons with everything

I used to bake cheese onto the bottom of my pizza crust because 'the stuffed crust calories don't count if it is on the bottom and not int he crust'

I used to remove 100 calories from my count for pieces of fruit because I read it was 'negative' calories (obvious bullshit)

I used to believe that my 'maintenance' was 3500 calories because 'I need an extra 1400 calories to maintain my happiness'

It takes about 2-3 days of eating nothing before you even get close to starvation mode. Your body has to burn through a lot before it will reach that point.

Usually fasting for a whole day or even two days is fine as long as you consume tons of water to flush things out.

This "starvation mode" after not eating for 1 day thing is just BS. Humans would have all starved to death back then if this were even remotely true.

What you need to do is ease into fasting once or twice a week and then your body will get used to living on less food. Which will also cause your stomach to shrink and cause you to feel full faster. Healthy fasting + good diet + light weight lifting is key. No need for hard cardio or running, just stretch your legs and walk a few times each day.

When you eat, no matter how many calories, all the carbs are going to get converted to fat.

Keep working out I knew someone who was an absolute fat ass that could outrun the entire school. Besides that being strong feels good. So what if you don't lose weight. Also run every single day you're supposed to skipping days doesn't help and trust me your legs can handle it. Also if you workout (like lifting) you need a 24 hour cooldown otherwise your muscles go through to much stress. But remember op you want your body to be tearing muscles, so that when they heal they'll be stronger than ever. But don't over do it. Pacing is key when lifting.
