Instagram is semi-common, but not so much as a social networking platform as a mobile picture-taking extension of facebook.
Normies still don't actually use Twitter themselves, though they have all heard of it and might browse a few celebrity accounts occasionally.
What I really miss are the earlier days of online dating, when most of the people on there were more on the tech-savvy side of things and you could meet tons of smart, down to earth girls. I was too young for dating sites then, but I just can't imagine them being any good. It's so bizarre how much I've done in the last 10 years, but I'm still here. Every single day I spend at least a couple hours with you people.

I don't think everyday people are aware of how much of a cultural impact it has had. Even if you don't use it or are even aware of it (4chan), memes are commonplace now. Even people who use the Internet heavily aren't aware that many of the memes they live and breathe with, originated here.
I grew up with 4chan, I've asked it for valuable advice on life problems, and have gained some useful insights. It's also one of my primary sources for entertainment, and oddly, news. It's been my "third place" over the years, and gives me an escape from daily life.
That said, most people would probably consider me a "normie" because I seem pretty normal on the outside. I've never let it take over my entire life. If you think that doesn't make me a true believer that's fine, I've probably been here longer than most of you anyway and will be here when you're gone. Or not, I'm not attached to this place and can leave any time and be fine. People need to be less obsessed with things.
Since autumn 2009. Was lurking in read-only for a year tho.
