I only skipped high school three times bc they would call home if I ditched. First time I just stayed home. My parents worked all morning so I had house to myself. I even tried calling myself off but the lady knew I wasn't my dad so she said to have him call back later. I was so embarrassed. When my parents came home I told them I'd just felt too sick and they called and that was that.
Other time I just walked to my friends house....it ended up taking me 7 hours to get there....
Last time I walked to a friend's who was home from college. We got drunk real early then drove to Chicago.
I ended up having 3 inexcusable absences so the rule was my final grades were supposed to be dropped 5% per absence but no teacher followed that rule except for one. It was an economics class that I needed to pass or have to take summer school (senior year) i.e. I wouldn't graduate. I had to get like a 90% on my final to pass the class. Somehow, I did it.
