I'd probably spend a few days gathering food and as much shit as I could, barricade up my house, degrade pretty quickly into psychosis again, because any major stress just pushes me right back onto the edge of it, and best case scenario end up living alone in my home, being incredibly paranoid and possibly violent towards anyone who passed by, until someone who knew what the fuck they were doing and wasn't insane killed me. Depends on what kind of apocalypse. If its like an apocalypse of the Mad Max/ Fallout variety, then I'd probably turn into a ghoul and wander the wastes for eternity until I became feral. If it were a zombie apocalypse, I'd probably get eaten by a zombie. If it were an Ice Age, I'd probably freeze to death. In almost every scenario I would die, however, in the event of a Life After People apocalypse where everybody but me just disappears, I would probably find a hotel and live in the penthouse, spending my days scavenging, reading, fapping, and getting /fit/

Sure, this might be true for a bit. But then you get sick, and can't forage and gather more food and water for yourself, and promptly get sicker and die, whereas someone who's around a group can have them bring them resources until they're better. Or until you realise that you've got no real survival skills anyway, and your shelter doesn't really protect you from the elements, and you have no idea how to gather food or hunt well enough to survive off it
I realise you're just attributing negative personality aspects to people who're socially successful to cope with your own failures, but in all honesty, the people willing to work with others and try to build something that lasts are the ones that survive. Humans are social creatures for a reason, we're undeniably best off in groups.

>live relatively peacefully with remaining survivors and/or girl I find, and follow the age-old lex talionis as a suitable law to prevent further immorality

>try and teach future generations any pre-apocalyptic languages and history for them to learn and prevent another apocaylypse from happening, or disregard teaching the ways of the pre-apocalyptic world entirely
