But...if it's a constant thing and their replies don't show interest/care about you they're/you're either just not a good match, or they really are just jerks. Even people from here can lead busy lives so try to give them the benefit of the doubt if you believe their explanations and they seem otherwise really happy to talk to you in conversation. This. Even in a relaxed situation like emailing a friend, it can still be as anxiety inducing as sitting down to write a thesis paper for some people. That's just the way it is. OP, if you want any of this advice to be at all helpful, just sort of add in "in my opinion" to the end of each post. No one can say how another person's mind works. No one can truly say, "if a person thinks you're boring, they'll do this" or "if a person cares about you or is interested in what you have to say, they'll do this."
