Hey you, yeah you with the chronic illness or whatever's killing you, post here. Now. What's killing you and your medication.

Your usual host, crohn's disease, megaesophagus, GERD (and asthma, and a bunch of other stuff) here. Imuran, Pentasa, Remicade, some PPIs and now beta blockers.

This thread will most likely sink because you're all in da club grinding your dick against Stacey's butt but hey.

Despite how pathetic I make my life I'm not even miserable all the time, just a few times a week usually. I wish I could at least use what I've been given to help people in shitty situations like those though.

>chronic fatigue syndrome, mitochondria disease, anxiety disorder, tachycardia, Aspergers
>not taking anything because none of the above is curable
>>
>>27759147
How old are you? Sounds like mitochondrial disease is causing most of your problems.

Tachycardia can be alleviated by beta blockers, and it can have many causes. I have beta blockers for now because they're going to do some more tests to see what's causing it but it can be caused by a lot of things, thyroid problems among others. In my case it's more likely the megaesophagus taking too much space.
>>
I'm fairly certain having late stage lyme disease twice in a row as a kid fucked me up for life. Ever since age 14 I've had constant horrible depression and a complete lack of motivation, not to mention recently diagnosed paranoid schizoid. And I have no idea what supplements to take, if any, that could help my lyme since no one really knows much about it's mechanism of action.

It's amazing how a tick, an extremely miniscule insect, can ruin a human's entire 77 years of life.

>>27759832
Depends on the illnesses. Think about it. Cancer and schizophrenia, common flu, social anxiety, IBDs, aspergers. The problem isn't so much the nature of the disease but how much it wrecks your life.

>>

>If you didn't take IV antibiotics then most likely the bacteria weren't completely killed. The doctors probably screwed you over.
Exactly. Only had two short doses of some shitty antibiotic that I recently read wasn't even the right one for lyme. Doctors care more about profit than helping people. And you're exactly right about zinc mag and fish oil, optizinc especially has been really helpful to me, I definitely need to order more. Sadly it seems like most supplements only give a very mild improvement. I'm going to try the Buhner protocol of herbs but doubt it'll do much.

Also, whenever I wake up from sleeping six or more hours, I get this horrible skin burning that only a shower cures. Anyone else get anything like that? I think it's a side effect of lyme but honestly I have no idea what qualifies as just bad genetics and what qualifies as lyme. Probably a mix of both, god dammit.

Type 1 Diabetes and some phimosis. It could be worse, I suppose.

I suspect I have sleep apnea or something similar. I'm always tired when I wake up despite sleeping for 12+ hours on weekends. It's probably just my irregular sleep patterns, though, because on weekdays I sleep usually 4-5 hours.

Well it's perfectly possible since it probably messes with blood flow. Beta blockers gives the worst nightmares. Like, every nightmare is a lucid dream. Except it's a nightmare. So instead of sleeping when you take those you fight zombies and ghosts half the time.

Now that you mention it, my eyes actually feel better. Woah, nice. Maybe Asagi is taking my pain for me.

Delayed sleep phase disorder, major depressive disorder, asthma, dependent personality disorder.

On albuterol, singulair, and prozac.

I have an extremely rare form of Hemophilia B and Panic Disorder, along with a variety of other less serious issues. I think there's only around 3000 cases in the US. I give myself an IV with stuff that makes my blood work normally whenever I have a bleeding episode, or sometimes every other day depending on my overall health. I also sometimes start spontaneously bleeding internally, and since my body can't stop the bleeding it can get pretty bad quickly. It's also one of the most expensive treatable diseases; around $2500 per IV, potentially 3 times a week, for life. Thankfully I have good insurance or I'd be dead.

Yeah. Some are consistently terrible and watching terrible stuff just makes me feel like shit for a few hours so I don't even try their shows. Whether they're making bad original shows or butchering the source material of a good manga.
I consider Gainax to be the same thing as Trigger.
I also think Bones and David Production (not like they have many shows) are irredeemable. I think Madhouse is probably also irredeemable but I forget if I'm 100% sure on that.
Studio Pierrot and Toei animation also have a history of being bad.
Oh, right. KyoAni is bad of course.
Probably forgetting a some maybe.

>D-did you hate kill la kill?
Yeah. You liked it?
I just cannot handle the westaboos at Gainax/Trigger. I mean most anime creators are westaboos on some level but stuff like Panty and Stocking is just taking it too far.

Damn, I typed a lot words.

This thread is very interesting.
I want to know a few things.

Op, do your defects manifest only on your insides or are you also deformed/ugly because of them?

Where are you getting these images from?

DICK GUY! How did you mangle your dick?!

As for me, i'm healthy and getting healthier everyday. Never get sick for more than 3 days, usually only one acute episode of fever, sore throat and the shits at most once every year, and a very dangerous bike accident around once a year.

I used to not pay attention to the studios too of course. But then I noticed all the least favorite anime I've tried were made by the same people and it escalated I suppose.
I-I'm not a negative person! I was bound to pay more attention to studios eventually!
Guilt by association can be kinda bad, but I usually have a bad feeling when looking at those studios' anime before I even learn that they made them.

I actually don't know much about Shaft, yet. I haven't really watched any of their stuff. It's awesome how they fully adapt so much stuff, though. Although I do know that I hate Madoka Magica. I hope the adaptation of Poni Poni Dash is good. The character designs for it seem cool.

Some of KyoAni's shows are enjoyable I think, but I think it's only because it's adaptation of good literature. I think it's awful how they made the Haruhi designs resemble Clannad. And I hated all the anime original stuff in Lucky Star. It just felt like they were using Lucky Star as a medium to praise themselves with.
I actually have not tried K-On! yet, but I am willing to since it has a unique director. I'm gonna read the manga first, though. It seems like I find every super-popular anime bad, so I'm fearful of the K-On! anime. They really changed up the character designs for the anime too.

Haruhi and Lucky Star had good dances/music, though. And I plan to fap to Phantom World.
>>
>>27764025
I didn't get the idea the disease might deform you, but sometimes diseases have genetic baggage that gives their afflicted some key ugliness, just curious if it might be the case or if a life of gastro problems made you malnourished enough to make you deformed.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm sick constantly, throwing up, diarrhea, stomach aches, reflux ... I've been tested on by doctors my entire life. However no one seems to be able to figure out what is wrong with me. This all has lead to severe depression and anxiety. I just want the pain to stop. I want to be normal.

Owwww I read the wiki for that it sucks. What kind of symptoms do you have?

UV therapy? Azathioprine + sun light = skin cancer, it's written on the notice. Of course you can't do that right now. Good luck anon. Your disease combo sucks.

>>27764719
Hahahaha you dummy.

>>27764759
I don't know what to tell you man. On one hand it could just be that you're anxious and a hypochondriac. On the other hand doctors make mistakes all the time. Initially my gp thought that I was just anxious so he gave me anxiolitycs. But when I couldn't feed myself because nothing went through, even water, he sent me to a gastroenterologist, who then had a ton of tests done and then they saw that all the lower part of my esophagus didn't move at all and my cardia was closed tight. So it wasn't fucking anxiety, it was a functional, physical problem called a fucking megaesophagus. That's just an example.

So definitely get different opinions.

Thank you very much anon <3

It's hard to keep trying after 10 years, I was on 150mg of zoloft for 3 years. It did help a bit with anxiety but I still threw up a lot and had reflux. I've also been 300mg of welbutrin. Hopefully I can find a solution

Pretty much all of the symptoms
I'm having lung problems now
Least my legs aren't contorted

Gonna go to bed now. Thanks for distracting me from my concussion and dick injury, anon.
I bet the reason my typing tone was off is because I wasn't using anime girls with my posts. I don't have many on hand right now and it would be bad to risk thinking lewd thoughts about them anyway.
Goodnight!! Hope your insides don't hurt too much tonight!

Yeah. Well don't stop looking until you find it anway.

Damn, fuck. Good luck man. Hah you can view the glass as half full that's good.

Haha yeah you should probably stay away from 4chan if you want to avoid boners. Goodnight! See you around!

are ultrasounds good for finding gastro problems?

What do you mean? For IBDs they find through blood tests and colonoscopy.

Asthma and gerd. To make matters worse every single cold and flu makes me vomit my intestines and doctors can't find out why so I'm perfectly dysfunctional for a week if someone sneezes around me.

As a result paranoia that I'm catching a cold is constantly gnawing at me.
I should end it. This is not living.

Nothing serious except ribcage deformation, nasal septum deviation (one side of nose doesn't breathe well, also nose bleeds often due to dryness), and quite bad flatfoot (legs are painful after 1-2 hrs of walking).

Nothing life-threatening though, also I'm glad that my head is working just fine with none of anxiety attacks that plague you, robots. I believe that we will be able to fix our bodies in the future, possibly for a hefty price. That's why I live on and accumulate wealth.

I have hidradenitis suppurative that effects my inner thighs and ass. It's not as bad as the horrifying shit that you'll see on google images but if it ever does get that bad I'm going to take the shotgun shortcut. Also got my first hemorrhoid today. It's huge, in the mirror it looks like it takes up the whole area of the sphincter. It's pretty awful and I have no money to buy one of those donuts to sit on. Preparation H is snake oil, it doesn't do anything. Untreated hypertension because of no health insurance and no money. Acid reflux disease. Thankfully I at least don't have diabetes yet like many people in my family.
>>
Not sick (physically at least ) or dying, came here and fapped to the guro. Thanks.

Have a bump in exchange
>>
>had infected ass ingrown toenails on each side of both big toes for years
>finally got them treated a few months ago
>starting to see more redness around the outer edge
I also have asthma, lactose intolerance, am deathly allergic to penicillin, and have a fur/pollen allergy that makes me nearly bedridden blowing snot out of my nose if I so much as enter a home with a pet/stay outside for too long.
Nothing compared to what you guys have though, my body isn't degenerating and I don't have a serious illness, but it makes normal life a living hell. The only pet I've ever owned was some fish, and my crippling social retardation makes talking with people impossible. I've seen plenty of robots who have a dog companion and I envy you tremendously.
>>
I find it strange how many robots are afflicted with constant illness. Most of the betas I know are sick most of their lives and are only alive because of modern medicine. The only thing that afflicts me is constant fatigue/ low energy.

>>27769753
You sick fucks.

>>27769907
Heh the pollen is raping my throat and lungs too. How are you doing?

>>27770943
To be honest I don't think relying on medication is a good idea as it corners us into a genetic dead end as a species. Well in my and most robot's case we won't reproduce anyway, but most people with serious illnesses do because they can survive with medication, but they pass on their dysgenic trashy DNA. More and more people have cancers and diseases of all kinds, and while a lot of that is generated by our environment, we should try to adapt, that is, people who adapt should survive and reproduce. Not those who need a thousand medical crutches to live another day. I'm not advocating proactive eugenics, but what we're doing here is active dysgenics. It's really fucking dumb and it sucks for everyone involved and causes immense amounts of suffering and a wast of money. My life isn't worth living, it's a meaningless battle that benefits no one. In a non-sick society I should be able to book an appointment for my own euthanasia.

>>27757940
GERD is the worst OP. I've had this shit now for about 8 years. PPIs don't really help much anymore and I've had some horrible esophagus swelling and esophageal spasms over the years along with a few suspected ulcers and bouts with chronic gastritis. I should probably get an endoscopy but I'm terrified of any surgical procedure due to crippling hypochondria and I rarely if ever leave my home. I'd rather die than get even a minimally invasive procedure like an endoscopy.
>>
>>27772446
Do the endoscopy dumbass. What you should be terrified about is esophagus/stomach cancer. Get your priorities in order. Oh endoscopies suck, it's basically tentacle rape, but it's still better than dying from something long and painful.

JUST DO IT
>>
>>27772446
>I should probably get an endoscopy but I'm terrified of any surgical procedure due to crippling hypochondria and I rarely if ever leave my home
Holy fucking shit, you're a gigantic pussy. You're too afraid to go do something you'll be unconscious for and have no memory of?a
I hope you have intestinal cancer and it grows worse because of your decision.
>>
>>27772731
>You're too afraid to go do something you'll be unconscious for and have no memory of?
Oh that's not true, endoscopies aren't done under general anesthesia in most cases. They just give you some cream to swallow to numb your throat so your gag reflex isn't so strong, but it's actually very uncomfortable and painful.

But it's still preferable to cancer yeah.
>>
>>27771377
YOU LITTLE FUCK. WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE.
>>27772446
Really though, what is it about people that makes them so willing to die from/over such basic things.
Endoscopies will most often be done after you've been given anesthesia anyways.
