This isn't so bad, guys.

Yeah, I find myself actually learning stuff via youtube, and random google/wiki searches just to fill in the time. I'm more productive at work than I ever was at home. Weird.

A NEET can be highly productive, he just needs to regulate his day a bit.

I've been very unproductive the last week or two, but my productivity in general is considerably greater than the average normie. I read, write, listen to\watch lectures, I study, I cook new meals, I spend time thinking - and I have a log to track my progress which keeps me motivated and on track.

A NEET can live on 16+ hours a day, if you're working you lose a lot of time to the mindless aspects of the job itself, to commuting, to preparing and recovering from the job, and even white-collar office work will tired you out so you have little mental energy left at the end of the day.
>>
If you're doing what you like, why the fuck do you care if it's "unproductive"?

This is a screenshot I posted on r9k last year in a thread like this (I have several different files tracking what I do).

When I first became NEET I didn't have anything like this and although at first I was doing a lot of reading, eventually I ended up wasting a lot of time, fapping to porn and accomplishing nothing. Started this a few years ago and each year I improve my tracking system so that I'm doing more.

>>27739290

I don't write stories. I'm mostly just recording various thoughts that come up that I find interesting. I've had issue with depression in the past and writing about them can really help, try it out.

>"Productive this, productive that"
fuck off, you feminized beta manginas.
Real mean are NOT productive.

"Yes, the curse of labor. So it is written in the Bible and its truth reechoes in the hearts of most men. The male is by nature lazy and unambitious. The industrious man is a truly feminine phenomenon. In male cultures men only work in order to live, but in nations where succubi domineer, men show ambition, zeal for labor, and they frequently work themselves to death firmly believing that they live in order to work. On account of the fact that ambition is a female characteristic, succubi are always going to be outraged at the sight of potential energies which are not transformed into kinetic energies. The mobile life is urban and female. Haste is not only unmanly, but as Ortega has demonstrated it, also the very negation of our immortality. The Middle Ages was a period without haste, it was male and timeless.

The true man is attracted by an adventurous life while succubus stands for security, concerned for the safety of her home and her family. The desperate craving for safety is always the surest sign of the effemination of a culture or nation. The replacement of Trust in divine Providence by efficient insurance companies is always a danger signal which should not be ignored."

is that why there are non stop gigantic threads on wizchan, filled with people whining and wanting to kill themselves coz of work?

at least they are being honest with themselves.

you self-denying cucks!

Beautiful post, anon.

Consciousness is masculine, and the vast majority of work obliterates consciousness. I've also noticed that women seem to have a sense of natural entitlement to the products of male labour - I've seen women express this verbally, they express it in the divorce courts and with child payments (I've read judgements from female judges demanding payment from cuckolded men), and with the whole affirmative action\wage-gap bullshit. Women WILL find a way to take that wealth from you somehow. Western economies are giant instruments of extracting wealth from men and handing them over to women.

Anon, don't be one of those men who works their life away to service these women (so far as you can escape it).

Information is only as useful as it is communicable. There's absolutely no merit in simply listening to lectures, as only the application of knowledge is indicative of intelligence.

Anyone who legitimately enjoys learning will challenge themselves to write a quality essay on the subject.
>>
>>27739549

I live on my own but I'm in Australia where we have a very generous welfare system.

Just make sure that if you do go NEET, you really do have systems in place to make sure you don't waste your time. If you don't have much money, you should add a daily requirement to your list for studying programming or doing something towards gaining a skill so you have a backup plan for the future.

>>27739598

When you see the "Review" blocks, that doesn't mean 'review the lecture', it means a mental review. I try to write a small essay on each lecture series.

>>27739621
Could you post a few essays (in addition to the corresponding lectures) for us to review? I'm not being argumentative, I just want to see. I'm genuinely interested in adopting a NEET lifestyle, and this thread might just convince me entirely.

I'm sorry I don't share any of my writing. I write only for my own sake. I don't think it would help you much, anyway. They aren't very impressive.

Some of the lectures listed my screencap were on Netflix (I think some of them were just 'preview' lectures too. Some were from Youtube. A much better place for lectures is 'the great courses' website, where you can sign up for monthly access to a lot of them. Or if you're willing you could download them from torrent sites.

This.
I was neet before for 3 years and im now a wagey for a year. 3000 follarydoos a month is better than sitting in centrelink and shitposting. Mind you, i miss the shitposting.
>>
>>27740251
Having a desired skill and a strong resume are priceless. Getting interviews is almost too easy, companies will contact you a day after you apply and shit.

Granted, you better be able to pass their technical tests with whatever skill you acquired so its not just free ride.
>>
>>27740296
Some people go into a profession that they enjoy.
Most don't really have a choice but try and find something they don't mind.
Some are fucked and have to do something they don't even like.

I'm thankfully in the middle.
Would I retire if I won the lotto? Yes.
Would I quit my job and be a neet? no
>>
having a job is easy
dealing with other people not
