Would you care to take a minute to hear the message of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ?

Catholicism is pretty good: you get a strict set of rules, but you can just violate them whenever you want and then say you're sorry before dying to get into heaven.

Buddhism is 100% awesome. Nothing to be ashamed of. Some say it is science, not religions.

The keys are:
> be able to stop thinking of stuff that bothers you
> don't do anything too extreme, take the middle path

Religion is some normie shit. It's all based in community and family values, particularly modern interpretations of Abrahamic religions are disgustingly normie.

But even a Tibetan monk who seals himself away from society to contemplate the nature of the universe doesn't do so because of rejection or fear, as a robot would. He seals himself away because he believes that's what is appropriate, and for a subconscious feeling of approval and validation from said society and peers.

Particularly, any belief in an afterlife with rewards and punishments is inherently anti-robot, as it encourages you to live your life for others' benefit and according to a morality that does not necessarily benefit yourself, not for any personal pleasure or inherent reward but the vague notion that "it's the right thing to do." Again, as decreed by a supernatural being, whose approval you would seek throughout your life. Seeking approval is some normie-tier shit.

>don't do anything too extreme, take the middle path
That's to avoid pissing off other people, aka normies, generally done at least partially for the goal of making other people like you and enjoy your company. Making yourself a net benefit to the world, etc., in other words being a normiecore sellout.

Quaker - entire religious "service" consists of sitting in a room in complete silence for an hour then going home.

>no songs
>no "message"
>no preaching
>no reading
>no group prayer
