What is a culturally age appropriate thing for an American in his late 20s to participate in to "get away" and experience adventure? By age appropriate I mean like how the Military is normally after high school, the Peace Corps and Teach for America are after college. What do people past the traditional age for those things do for the same type of experiences?
pay alimony

I know a lot of left sjw who went to travel to some shitty third world country in the middle of nowhere.
Most late 20 year olds i know go to Vegas semi-often.
So i mean, if blowing loads of money on hookers and casinos sounds fun to you then go there.
Otherwise just go live in Europe for a while to "experience" different cultures, aka live a similar lifestyle in a place where some people know languages other than english.

Get that international poontang or be the autist on the trip who doesn't talk to anyone
>>27732137
Go travel.
Goddamn why the fuck do you care if it's "age appropriate"?
You're a robot, you're supposed to not care about what people think. Go do whatever adventure you want.
Personally, I plan on one day travelling China and Japan. Maybe North Korea if it ever magically opens up a little more.

do you have a degree? consider teaching english in japan it might be fun idk

Adventures wtf.
Culturally acceptable? Who gives a shit.
If you're bored quit your job and get another.
You want adventure, try living off your savings and job hunting.
You'll be the most thrilled you've ever been.
dabbling in hard drugs if you've never been there before
likewise with generally unlawful behavior just experiencing the excitement of recklessly not giving a fuck
weekend warrior hobbies like martial arts, shooting, shit even stuff like larp and airsoft
lightweight backpacking, either in nature or foreign cultures
hiking / mountain climbing is a fun and physical hobby especially great for vacationers
train hopping even although it's not recommended for beginners
or just try out some new, different kinds of jobs if you get the opportunity
that's autistic, go whereever the fuck you want
As you get older you're supposed to give less of a shit about what anyone else thinks
>>27732465
> please die in a foreign war so the powers that be can continue to exist
pull your head out of your ass
>>27732137
To work a wageslave job till the day you die. Adventure is dead. If it makes you feel any better, the western world may go to shit in the coming years what with all the immigration and leftism. There will be plenty of adventure in that case.

From what I've read, it's actually surprisingly easy for normal people to visit North Korea. Just follow all the rules about bowing to statues of the Supreme Leader and shit and you'll be fine.

>everyone who joins the military dies in combat
Even in the Army and Marines you're pretty safe at this point, and in the Navy or Air Force getting killed is pretty much impossible.
>>27733257
You realize most soldiers dont kill anyone.
Most soldiers will never even fire their weapons against a enemy combatant.
Most kills are through the air force or some air wing of the army or navy.
Never even been in the military but your propaganda pic isnt accurate to those with common sense.
Are you white? Go to Asia and bring back a wife
>>27732374
might aswell just go live in Pakistan for a while
most people are working and getting married. i guess go somewhere with amusements like vegas, other gambling places.
>>27732137
Realistically, any age is absolutely fine. If you're worried about how normie society would look at you, I'd say about 35 is the latest before it becomes weird. A lot of the coolest people I've met didn't really go out into the world until their mid-20s.
If you're still in your 20s then you're in a good place, it's nowhere near too late to drop everything and go on some big life adventure.

I'm 29. "Missed out on teenage love" and other robot tropes, but did have a single girlfriend at 27. Work in IT and have considered getting a job in an exotic place like Dubai. It would be nice to be somewhere with pevelant prostitution to 'make up for lost ass' so to speak. However, it'd be nice to go abroad with some 'backup' so to speak, an infrastructure. That's why the Peace Coprs is appealing.

It seems that by looking at the data, most volunteers are either recent college grads, or seniors and older married couples. The seem to have cut back on IT positions and replaced it with a more general business or NGO advisory role. I wonder if I have enough experience that a group in Ukraine or Armenia for example would listen to or respect my input.
>>27732504
Some things are going to be more enjoyable if done at the age most other people doing it are. For example, being a non-traditional college student is a completely different experience than when done at the typical age.
>>27732137
I used to be an oogle. Dropped out of high school, hitched and spanged. Still have my beat up guitar. Getting a real job, laser removing my gross tattoos and settling down has been my adventure of my 20's. Grew up in a trailer park too, never had a crust fund like the poser college kids I'd meet and still became a self made middle class man.
