The closest thing I can think of is Peep Show, despite the premise being two loser friends who live together. The social interactions, POV, and inner monologues really do fall in line with robot behavior. The relationships that Mark and Jez fall into are all built upon manipulation and deceit, even their own relationship. I haven't watched the recent seasons though so I don't know if it goes to shit.
