At least you have money coming to you. My parents have money now but none will ever come my way, but they did on multiple occasions leave me broke and fuck and struggling in order to get their lives back on track.
First born and fucked over, constantly moved around and torn between divorced parents. Younger brother stayed put, went to only a few schools, made lasting friends, was basically given a place to rent from mother then later friends, making uni one big party, and is now earning stupid amounts of money do stuff all work. Meanwhile I'll been fucked around with depression, anxiety, bi-polar, eating disorders, premature balding and hormone issues. Can't hold even an entry level job and freak out like a paranoid fuck even if the phone rings, which it rarely does.
I swear parents need to be screened in order to prove than can actually be fucking parents. I should have been aborted. Your situation sounds shit but at least you have it potentially made.
