Every time I do DXM I end up vomiting, ive done it 4 times now with a few months apart each time. The trip is pretty okay, they when I start getting nauseous it becomes a waking nightmare and struggle. Its like im watching my life through a slide show as I stumble around my halls trying to make it to the toilet.
After I vomit I generally just roll over and listen to music til I pass out.
Is there any way to avoid the nausea? Can I take some other over the counter drug with it to nullify nausea?

Not really, no. Other than fasting the day previously and staying hydrated. Some people find weed to help with nausea but that could very easily make you way, way to high when combined with the DXM
Purging is a pretty integral part of doing DXM man, just like things like peyote.

what do you take? are you taking DXM with guaifenesin, acetaminophen, any other active ingredients? if so, don't take that. dextromethorphan should be the ONLY active ingredient.

I find it immensely helpful to take the bottle in fifths, with about 15 minutes between each "dose." I also take the gel caps instead of the liquid and I've never been nauseous from them. Walgreens sells a store brand of them, 300mg total for about $5.
also, don't dose on a full or empty stomach. eat a small meal an hour before you start taking your shit.

try what I said about taking the gel caps or syrup in smaller doses waiting 15 mins between each dose.
it doesn't affect your trip and gives your stomach some time to process the medicine in smaller amounts rather than all at once.
but it could just be your body. some people can't handle it. I've never been nauseous or puked from DXM but I've always been very careful about the way I take it and set-up and everything.
it helps to have a cool dark room ready for you to come up in.
