I've been replaying my favorite porn videos in my head, then I get hard and end up with blue balls. But I've got to stay the course. Any advice for self-restraint on this? Don't know if I can go much longer

Don't I know it. I can go forever without fapping when I'm depressed. But I'm just now coming out of a depression, and I want to preserve my high libido. I can't risk blowing it right now by fapping.
Come on. I know it's not November, but there must be somebody else here who is trying to cut back on their masturbation habits. What did you find helpful?

Don't do the mistake I did, don't mix porn with NoFap! The goal of NoFap is to avoid both porn and masturbation, if you only avoid masturbation but keep watching porn you'll still feel like shit, in addition to that, you'll always end up eventually masturbating if you keep watching porn.
I'm on day 17, deleted 20 gigabytes of porn from my computer and blocked all the pornographic content on my internet with K9 filter, I highly recommend it.
Nofap is not a choice anymore, Cutting back on masturbation habits is vital and it will be a habit that I intend to keep, not masturbating is the way to go. Fapping makes me weaker and more tired than I already am. Every time I fap I deny myself an opportunity for improvement. Even though I suck at nofap, giving into the carnal pleasures of stroking my dick is out of the question now. This shit has been making me numb and barren for way too long.

Depression makes it easier though. Also not thinking about nofap, and instead thinking of doing all other things is the true way to be better. When I was obsessing over my day counter, at the end of the day it was almost guaranteed that I will load up some pictures of women, clothed, unclothed, partially clothed, and just go at it because that stuff is just too tempting. But given enough time to train self control, it got better.

6 months? You must be backed up beyond belief. The longest I have ever gone is 11 days. I've got sleep disorders and I'm pretty sure I don't have nocturnal emissions, so my balls would probably explode if I went much longer than that. You have an amazing level of discipline. That takes some real dedication.

No it means that for 6 months I have been consistently determined to stop fapping and I failed. Longest I ever gone was 23 days.
You read my post wrong.
My point was that in those 6 months, despite failing at nofap, I still felt better.
Sorry but the addiction is strong. My next goal is to aim at 30 days, but without ever thinking about it like that.
