Why the flying FUCK is it socially acceptable for people to practice piano in public? Is this not why practice rooms exist?

Imagine if most public places had a drumset lying around in the main area. At first, you figure that maybe it'll be nice to have some light brush drumming in the background. But in reality, it turns out that one schmuck decides to use that drumset to practice his rock drumming for hours on end EACH DAY.

This is the reality of every god damn public piano. Some fucker pounding away the same piece over and over without consideration for those around him

I have played piano since i was 7 and am 23 now. I can't even enjoy it anymore. I am such a perfectionist even when learning something new I will lose my shit and yell and punch things if there is something I can't get down. I don't believe i'd ever use a public piano and certainly not for practice.
