what are you alcoholics drinking? I've got cheap whiskey
>>
i quit drinking because it cost too much, made me feel shitty later, and made me bad at video games and coursework. i drank daily for like half a year though. i preferred black velvet whiskey.
>>
>>27682004
I'm more of a beer man myself, but if I drink liquor it's Captain Morgan or Sailor Jerry.

Just got home from work and drinking Jim Beam and Hans' Pils on an empty stomach. Feels great.
>>
Day 1 of 2 off, going to drink and do nothing all day. Hooray for being wagecuck friendless alcoholic
>>
Alcohol is literally shit tier compared to other drugs.
Why do you drink?
>>
Picked up two 5,0 Original Weizen beers for tonight; it's budget German beer, but still pretty good. I'm flying back to the US in a couple days and plan on bringing a bottle of Jager with me (I'm 19, so it's difficult to get hard liquor in the states).
>>
>>27683015
it's not shit tier if you know how to drink, dude. if you hit the sweet spot, it is heaven. it also erases anxiety/worries which weed often exacerbates.
>>
Some Jade Terminus Absinthe, baby! Tonight is going to be incredible.
>>
>>27683117
Absinthe is the best goddamn liquid this planet can possibly provide
>>
>>27683153
>>27683117
I don't get liquors past 50%, the climb and fall of the alcohol going into your system is so sharp because alcohol intake is exponential. You go from being buzzed/lit to being tired in 10-15 minutes. I think 40% is the perfect amount. You can keep downing to be in that electric buzz feeling while also getting more drunk and to beat the fall.
>>
bottle of Smirnoff
it's not expensive, and though there are slightly cheaper liquors to be had, I've found that this is the cheapest that is not awful

>>27683015
I'm a nervous sperglord with almost no friends who lives in suburban hell. I can't just walk down to the corner with cash and buy whatever I want from the friendly local Dindu.

Also at least alcohol relaxes me somewhat. Most of the time I see someone call alcohol a shit-tier drug, they advise weed instead. Weed is shit. Stuff gives me fucking panic attacks. 0/10 would not smoke again
>>
>>27682298
I like to read in the beginning, but when I get slightly tipsy I stop and watch stuff. I love movies, but don't like to be drunk during good ones and ones I haven't seen yet. When I'm drunk I pretty much either watch cheesy old movies or Kung fu movies. I drink either beer or whiskey, with the occasional red wine. Tonight I'm drinking red wine.
>>
>>27683268
You're not supposed to drink it straight up, anon, come on. I like following the standard preparation procedure and enjoying a nice glass of it with some nice dinner.
>>
>>27682671
I used to drink nothing but this, many black out times and gallons of it when i went to vegas for my 21 birthday.

If i even smell it now i would puke.
>>
>>27683433
I feel you.
I lose my appetite for liquor after I binge on it hard enough to puke or get a terrible hangover.
I've ruined rum, gin, whiskey, and vodka for myself because of this. I have to hide it in a mix to even drink it when I used to just drink it from the bottle.
>>
>>27683334
I can drink wine familia. I drank it once 5 years ago, me and my brother drank 2 boxes of it and it was by far the worst hangover of my entire alcoholic life.

I could barely close my bedroom door without my head exploding from pain

>never again
>>
>>27683518

>>
Anyone tried making booze on his own? Alcohol is too expensive here and I don't like government stealing my shekels.
>>
>>27683385
>You're not supposed to drink it straight up

>dinner
This is not alcoholism does not compute.
>>
>>27683565
home-brewing beer is pretty popular, you could do that.

distilling your own liquor is possible, but generally rather illegal and you better be careful because if you don't do the distillation right you won't get the methanol out. Ethanol is drinking alcohol, methanol will blind you with one shot and kill you with two, since your liver turns it into formaldehyde.

It sounds like you aren't in a state with medical cannabis providers, I suggest you try eating cannabis edibles as opposed to smoking it. Several options are available ranging from fruit candies to chocolates, even butters that you can use in any dish. This is the ideal way to receive all the benefits of THC/CBD profiles without actually getting the negative anxious feelings the rushing fast onset of smoking causes. I encourage you to give it another try, it truly is the tree of life.

My credentials: I am a cultivator for a medical marijuana facility
>>
>>27683653

You're an idiot, methanol is only produced in trace amounts during fermentation. Some people think small amounts of methanol cause hangovers but you're not going to make toxic moonshine just distilling some mash.

People literally put wood alcohol in moonshine to cut it, that's the danger. Making it yourself the major danger is your still blowing up if you don't build it right.
>>
>>27683750
the way stoners explained it to me was that weed doesn't so much make you feel relaxed and mellow so much as it amplifies what you're already feeling. Which I suppose isn't a problem if you're the type who can easily relax his mind before smoking it, eating it, injecting three whole marijuanas like that way your brother died, or whatever. for someone of nervous disposition who hates himself, I don't see any way it's gonna do anything positive for me. It certainly hasn't any of the times I've tried it.
>>
>>27683546
I hear you, famalama. Whenever i have wine I drink a ton of water alongside instead of just before I go to bed, which is what I do with beer
>>
>>27683546
>>27683928
Also sugary wines give the worst hangovers in my opinion.
>>
>>27683845
weed is highly overrated.
I've tried it a few times and at best all it did was make me feel slow. Like the opposite of drinking an energy drink. I just wanted to sit down for a few hours.

This nigga knows what he's talking about.

The last of the budder I made from buds.

I use 2 ounces of bud or 4ozs of trim a pound of butter is about strong enough for recreation or pain.

Also decarb it or you are wasting it

And if you have neighbors they WILL smell it for 12 hours so I wouldn't do it if your neighbors dont like you if you don't live in a legal or medical state.

As far as I know, making beer is much harder than distilling. Whether it's beer or liquer, my main concern is the quality. Can I make decent quality booze with proper equipment or is it going go be trash anyways?

Kraken here. Started drinking most nights now, just a double a day, hoping this isn't bad...

>>27684013
Not sure, regular(ish) smoker here... Just allows you to be a bit happier, and see the humor in things - Mine is elevated when high, and other people seem to think so too

On a normie level, smoking with friends is much nicer than drinking, and there's hardly any side effects in the morning. There's also a world of difference between different strains - I didn't like it till I went to a nice sativa
>>
>>27683015
if you're able to obtain anything other than alcohol, you're a normie with contacts and you should get the fuck out
>>
>>27684338

I've been brewing cider for about 6/7 months now - Really easy if just buying store bought juice, literally just cram it all in a demi-john with yeast and leave for a couple months, couldn't be simpler, and it's *incredibly* cheap, once you've bought the initial equipment.

Never tried brewing ale (yet), but it's almost as easy, just need to buy hops instead and boil (boil?) to get correct amounts out - both are pretty hard to fuck up.

I would say, however, that distilling spirits is a bit harder - If you fuck it up, as some of my sisters friends did, you'll literally go blind and/or die. Quite a bit more dangerous that a bad case of the shits on some crappy cider, you should definitely start with a gold/pale ale or a cider

have a talk with him about this. you can turn a relationship where you exploit each other into one where you trade and both profit, as it's quite clear each of you has something the other wants

I drink Fireball. I wish it didn't make me seem like a normie
>>
How do alcoholics deal with the hangovers? That alone is about the only reason i give it a break through the week
>>
>>27686999
a bit of cannabis and a lot of water
>>27686929
Fireball is a meme drink. if you really want cinnamon whiskey, get some good stuff and infuse it yourself. most commercial liqueurs are garbage
>>
>>27682671
Drinking some of this. It'sll I have left besides a bottle of Irish Cream.
>>
About to finish off a bottle of Red Label.

How do I know if I'm an alcoholic?

Dedicate your next drink to me guys :(
