This is part of why the argument that gay people choose to be gay never really stuck with me. I grew up in a very liberal west coast city so there would have been next to no real shame in being gay. Guys were always so much easier to hang out with and fun to be around that I would have much rather hung out with pretty much any guy instead of a girl and it probably would have been easier to find a bf than a gf because the market is a lot smaller and gay guys have less choice in the immediate range but no matter what, the thought of kissing another guy does absolutely nothing for me at all and I've never fantasized about being really intimate or cuddling with a guy while I've done that with tons of girls.
