>tfw best friend got diagnosed with schizophrenia (schizoaffective disorder to be specific)
>tfw having normal conversations are becoming harder and harder every day
>tfw seeing her talking to her hallucinations is heartbreaking and scary
>tfw she says she hears "me" talking to her and insulting her
>tfw her medication doesn't seem to be making a difference
>tfw I've been emotionally dependant on her for the past 5 years and she's been the most supportive person in my life
>tfw I'm losing her
She's the most selfless and sweetest person I've ever met. This is killing me so much to see her go through this, but I know it's much worse for her. She had apparently been experiencing visual hallucinations for 3 years now but refused to tell anyone because "then they would become real". I only found out a couple months ago when she had one while we were on the phone and she started talking to "someone" and uncontrollably sobbing. In the past couple months they've become much more vivid and frequent and she started experiencing auditory hallucinations as well. What do I do guys?
