I can confirm as a former fat guy that everybody called ugly, I now got my shit together lost weight, got a hair cut, and started wearing nicer clothes. I used to be a really nice guy but all the insults and isolation really broke me down. Now people typically call me "handsome" and "kind" and "cool" but I am still a virgin and don't have any friends. It really depends on the person. I have chad potential (above average face at the least, naturally strong and muscular, not full spaghetti, assertive personality), but im fat, and i used to be fully socially inept, so i got bullied pretty severely until my 16th age or so. I used to be edgy for a while when i was 14 but having grown up i find it very hard to be cruel to people who dont deserve it, because it reminds of how i got treated and i wouldnt want do that to anyone else.
There is a small part of me that does wish to extend my pain to others, but thats almost exclusively at people who are cruel and ruthless themselves.
It really depends on the person, a good person who has been mistreated will understand how it feels and not treat others the way he got treated. A bad person who got mistreated will start to see everything through a veil of anger, hate and bitterness, and will indiscriminately victimize people as well, in many cases actually going for the weak and victimized as well as they're lowering hanging fruit.
