His favorite activities are laying down on the couch and on the top of the stairs as well as barking at the Russian neighbors' black lab. His favorite foods are cheerios and pupperoni. RIP doggie. I cried when my dog died. Came home one day and he wasn't as energetic as normal but I thought maybe he just wanted to relax for a bit.
After a little bit I noticed he didn't want to do anything so we took him to the vet but he still didn't move while we put him in the car. The vet said he was suffering from kidney failure.
I lost it when the vet was kinda poking him with a pen on his paw to get some response out of him. He didn't move at all or respond by pulling his foot back. He was only two years old. He was doberman without the cropped ears

Oh god that's awful. That's really terrible to hear that your parents said she felt like she was becoming a burden instead of letting her live until she passed away in her home with family.
My mom did something like that with another Doberman we had. It was red girl Doberman with floppy ears and we also just got a puppy similar to OPs and she would look after him and let him nurse even though she didn't produce milk
She was getting a little older and I guess couldn't always hold in her pee so she dribbled sometimes when she walked and sat around. First time she told me she was gonna drop her off at the pound I kept crying but she left anyway. About thirty minutes later she came back with her.
She did the same thing again a few months later when I was at school but didn't come back with her that time

My dog is 13 and has not much time to live, an eye infection turned into very large abscess that treatment hasn't helped. Lhasa named Dusty after the dust mop look that some of them have, although her hair's always been short. A loyal watch dog always sitting where she can see the room, although she has panic attacks when the phone rings just like me. Dogs are good friends and great listeners when you don't have anyone else to talk about things.
Enjoy your doggo while it lasts they don't always look their age but they're susceptible to illness and injury same as any animal.
My mom gave my dog a sock and I think she ate it. Fuck I'm so worried
