And taking excessive amounts of calcium does nothing. As long as your body gets enough calcium, then having more calcium just means your liver needs to filter it and put it into your piss.
Calcium is an element. It's found in all foods. If you are not getting enough calcium, then you are probably starving.
Calcium is literally a non-issue.
Vegetables, on the other hand, have an array of vitamins and amino acids that are very important for hormone regulation and growth. Not to mention the all-important fiber.
