Is beauty subjective or objective? Is it in the eyes of the beholder or is it some common features behind beauty?

"Good" genetics has a little to do with it but for the most part we have been socially conditioned on what beauty is supposed to be. Only explanation as to why beautiful women throughout history looked drastically different.

That girl you posted is a 5/10 and a 10/10 in one. In a larger sense, she is young and White, making her a 10/10 among the worlds people. At the same time she is a 5/5 in a majority White college campus.

Her major flaw is her teeth. IF she got that fixed and contacts she would look a lot better.r
>>27650204
Losing the glasses and applying makeup would fix her. Closing her mouth in pictures obviously

I think there are a few factors, I have heard it be said that people go for people they veiw to be on the same "level" as them, whether subconscious or not it makes sense, you just have to look at some couples at your local walmart to prove that. The fat trashy trailer park types will go for the other fat trash, while the "hot" (read:notdeformed) trailer trash will hump the other "hot" trashy people. Literally in my city, this certain group of people who party together practically all swap partners. Its not intentional they just break up lots and all hang out a lot. The white bitchy soccer mom types will go for the fat bumbling football fan dad just to fulfill their fantasy of being a living laundry detergent ad. Stacys will go for chad, etc etc.

Thats people either settling for someone in their league or choosing the person as a compatible partner which factors in more than just looks. A better comparison is if each person had a companion creator how would they make their ideal mate look? Most likely something globally accepted in today's society as beautiful - ie OP's pic

Its mostly subjective. Some men like
>skinny
>thick
>light
>dark
>chestlet
>tittymonster
>curly hair
>straight hair
>quiet shy girls
>extroverted girls
>gingers
>short girls
>tall girls
meanwhile all girls love 6'3 extroverted chads

They haven't looked that drastically different m8, except for typical racial features. Things like "fat women used to be the ideal" are largely an urban myth.

Show me one civilization in history that's shunned facial symmetry and highly desired women with the aesthetics of Supermang and I'll believe that a mentally healthy boy can be raised and "socialised" into being attracted to a pallid problem-glasses-wearing landwhale with body odour, straggly blue hair, three days of razor stubble and a cranio-facial deformity without it being just a fetish
Artdick here, this isnt even a question.
Of course it's fucking subjective now what kind of beauty are we talking? The robots jumped into women land, I prefer nature. But even that is hollow, man and his action is a better nature to observe.
>>27650539
Damn, who is supermang? He is ugly as fuck.
>symmetry
>signs of youth
>no signs of disease
Everything else is subjective.
>>27649810
she looks like a fucking ayy lmao with that neck lmao
I think as objective as you can get is that men want women to look healthy, and what retarded fucking women think is hot actually looks unhealthy (from being too skinny, like model girls)

So much wisdom in one post.
>>27650539
>fat
>facial symmetry
What exactly do these two have in common? Obese has never been attractive, but a plump and symmetrical female is peak fertile territory and always has been. Males with small penises have been the norm for all classical art outside of Africa but that doesn't mean they weren't preferred.

*that doesn't mean they were preferred
Sorry accidentally made the opposite point.
i dont understamd how people obsess over taylor swift. she looks like a generic white girl with lots of makeup. i actually dont find her attractive.
>>27651797
Only 12 year old girls and neckbeards with the minds of 12 year old girls actually like her
Beauty is deviancy from the standards set by expectations. Whether beauty is interpreted as attractive or repulsive is in the eye of the beholder.
>>27651856
My mother recently told me that I should get a girl like Taylor because she's cute and has a good fashion sense.
I just let out a half-chuckle, half sigh, rolled my eyes and continued about my day.
>>27650204
>contacts
But that would reduce her attractiveness.
>>27650260
>Losing the glasses
BUT THAT WOULD REDUCE HER ATTRACTIVENESSWelcome to subjectivity.
