A little lip gloss and some light makeup to cover up any acne/pitting/creases will make you totally qt.
Eye shadow makes you look skanky and red lipstick makes you look like a clown. Blush is easy to overdo.

you'll have to use brow liner and powder if your eyebrows are too thin or short
if you use concealer to hide imperfections, you have to use foundation to hide the concealer, and then bronzer to hide the foundation otherwise you get that cakey-face look

It's not that complicated. You just have to look as good as possible, preferably going by something like Japanese standards of beauty rather than western ones. Individuals have their own preferences and fetishes but I'd say this is the most likely to yield the best overall result. Artificially enhancing beauty, be it makeup or surgery, is always a plus if done tastefully.
