These days the only way it works is if I'm triggered by something irl. The videos don't do anything for me. I find them to be too contrived. The only ASMRist that really did it for me is pic related but she took down all her vids.
ASMR is still great but I don't get the same tingles but still get mesmerized and relaxed by it. I love having it in the backround. I play vidya muted and have asmr playing.
