You can also find "counsellors" who have no specialized degree at all, but are not generally covered by health insurance.

Call your country's depression phone hotline, or even suicide line. I talk to those guys for hours, and they have to be sympathetic even if they hate me, which they totally do.

In some areas, if you're lucky, there are psychology students who or whatever the fuck classes they take to become a therapist who will do free appointments, kind of like an internship type deal. I was referred to them once when I was homeless and broke but I never went to one
