I mean you can take a lot of debt from student loans but if you don't pay it off for so long I think you can default on it or something and end up not having to pay it back. Either way, I think taking loans sooner rather than later would be better because I don't know how hard it would be to get back into college if you're homeless (though I think it might be easier to get FAFSA if you were homeless recently).
