Guys
Why did nobody tell me Steven Universe was such a comfy show
Seriously the only thing anybody knows about it is that Tumblr loves it
But it's actually really nice
>>27621017
this is exactly what i said on here yesterday, its super relaxing to watch
even if the fanbase is minecraft tier, why the fuck would anyone suspect any fanbase is good, for anything? they are cesspools by design, nobody should become invested in one fucking show
I watch it because there isn't a show with stronger feels and interesting characters. I've never been this enthralled with a TV show before.

Anything that 4chan says is shit has turned out to be god tier for me. Steven Universe is no exception.
Just because a demographic you don't like likes something you like does not necessarily mean it's bad.
also, when the fuck is the new season going to start?
Sucrose must have inherited the fucking. Ghawar Field of feels because SU and her tenure on Adventure Time has made Miss Sugar's Wild Ride the #1 feels inducer of the past decade.
And the fanbase, cancerous as it is, makes some breddy gud content (sometimes)
It's a really neat concept of a show. New enough to be original but it takes from classics as well. It's some good shit and it really pains me when people talk shit about it without giving it a chance.
I thought it was just neo-homestuck.homestuck is ending in 9 days.

>tfw I know people who read Homestuck that are dead now and didn't get to see the end
>>27621207
I'm a 25 year old man and I cried during Garnet's song.
>>27621017
Dont fall for it, OP.
Today you watch SU. Tommorow you start HRT. The day after tommorow you scream cis scum. The day after that you advocate to kill all white males.
Dont succumb to Devils temptations
>fat autist kid surrounded by super women
>implying it wouldn't appeal to /r9k/
>>27622196
all things considered, it's probably for the best
>>27622196
>tfw qt oneitis got me into homestuck back when I was in highschool
>tfw we both still follow it, but she never gave a shit about me
>tfw I'm still not over her
>>27622258
Seriously, Steven Universe is a shit-tier show. It's basically My Little Pony, but instead of being for 4 year-olds it's for 6 year-olds. Good job OP, can't wait for you to start dying your hair neon and become a tranny.
>>27622353
for as terrible as homestuck's been the past few years, it's hard to believe it's actually ending, and it's looking GOOD.
>>27621017
>But it's actually really nice
not for straight males. You should mention you're a cumdumpster or a faggot when recommending that trash
>>27622768
Care to explain why it's bad without referring to the fanbase?
>>27621017
It's pretty great in spite of how tumblr it is. It gets a bit more obvious with the tranny/lesbian overtones in season 2, but it's still good.
>>27621017
Try gravity falls and rick and morty too
they are comfy as fuck
>>27621017
I heard that recently, too. I watched a few episodes on TV when I was at my parents house but it didn't seem all that special. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow if it's so great.
>>27621017
The commercials I've seen for it when it was first airing on cartoon network looked severely autistic to me, autism levels conparable to the show Uncle Grandpa. Even my 13 yo brother thought the show looked retarded just judging from the commercials. How is it, actually though? Does it lean more towards shows like..futurama, regular show.. Or my little pony?
>>27621017
Yea, it's pretty good. Idk why people think it's a feminist show. There are just female characters with powers. The guys in the show are pretty cool too.
It's comfy, alright. Imagine getting being Steven, in that cozy bed listening to rain falling on the window and hearing the ocean. Maybe hearing the gems warp in and go to their rooms, knowing you're safe from anything.
But watch Over the Garden Wall for the true comfy cartoon experience. I'd recommend waiting until autumn but you do you.

I think it's back in June.
>>27621676
>homestuck is ending in 9 days
>it will be 7 years old
this is a horrible feel
>>27622950
He didn't actually mention the fanbase.
>>27622258
>Today you watch SU. Tommorow you start HRT.
>tfw I'm literally looking at ways to acquire Spiro at this very moment
>>27623227
Thanks, I've been meaning to start Rick+Morty forever; didn't know about Gravity Falls
>>27623352
Basically, the premise is pretty childish, but the writing is actually decently solid and the character development is bretty gud.
If you like adventure time, you might like this more.
