I experienced something similar but it was at Dairy Queen. The reason I didn't go for it though was because the girl looked like she was 13 years old and I was 20 at the time.
I used to pass notes with my girlfriend in high school. Mostly, they'd either be completely banal ("7-11 after school?" "Yeah") or just full of kinda demented doodles. No point in writing something mushy or sexually explicit on a note that somebody else could get ahold of.
