For me it was realizing that I don't think I'll ever feel any kind of romantic love for another person. Not trying to be edgy or say I'm some kind of sociopath it's just I'm never attracted to people who are attracted to me.
I've never had a gf and I honestly can't imagine myself having one. I hate cuddling, I hate having to have a discussion on what I want for dinner, and the thought of sleeping in the same bed as someone else is just uncomfortable to me. Granted I've had and enjoyed sex but everything after it was over was just awkward.
But mostly I hate relying on other people and feeling venerable and I've been alone for so long that the thought of having a gf seems so weird.
