Whats your dream job?

Try to keep it as grounded in reality as possible.

I'm especially interested what my fellow neets would answer.
>>
Being the in-house composer for a big-name vidya dev.
>>
I feel like being a radio DJ would be one of the more fun jobs to have. Assuming you weren't anxious about talking on the air. Maybe being a sidekick or something to a larger morning radio show.

This is pretty good too

live somewhere hidden from people, kind of like the house in ex machina, but with curtains that blocked visibility to the outside. I'd be a writer, like right now, except I'd actually be good and people would tell me they appreciate my work.

I can never answer that question fully. Be an entrepreneur would be best. But something where I get to have an idea and work on my own actual idea.

Hell typing it out makes me realize how much I've never even allowed myself to work on my own projects, I just give up or make excuses.

I want to be a novelist, screen-writer, comic-write but also make the same type of stuff for video games, write the plot, come up with the world and stories and characters etc.
>>
full time house-husband/fucktoy
>>
an in demand studio guitarist. it's really difficult getting into that though because you need to be able to play in a shit load of styles, and be able to read music accurately and fast.
>>
High Inquisitor.

I'd take a small team and go around inspecting various government institutions rooting out corruption, negligence, and misuse of power/resources.

Like OSHA except for shit we all pay for.
>>
Being a NEET for life, no joke.
>>

The only thing I've ever been interested in is working in transit.

I think it would be cool to work in programming traffic lights for a city.
>>
A lighthouse operator/owner.
Unfortunately most lighthouses have become automated.
>>
I want to be in the Marines. I got declined at Meps for mental illness and past crimes. I honestly don't even know what to do in life, I just drift along waiting for death.
>>
>>27614158
Once I make enough money at my current job I'm going to quit and teach high-school math, biology, and chemistry at an inner city school. Im thinking about going to culinary school part time when I'm 40ish. If so, maybe I can also teach cooking if they offer it as an elective.
>>
A mathematician.

Unfortunately I'm not good at math.

I like the idea of being an independent photographer. Taking pictures of beautiful women and composing it all in a sort of collected-works type of books and sell them on Amazon or something.

I recently bought a hardcover Playboy book which is a nice collection of centerfolds from the 50's - 70's done in the sort of style I'd like to do and it makes for a great little book.

The reality of it all would make it just about impossible though.
>Acquire decent camera & lens and probably studio lights
>You need to be able to talk to people
>especially young beautiful women
>be able to pay them for their time
>get them to sign a release so you can use the photos
>do post processing for the pictures
>find a publisher to get the books actually made

then you need to find a way to market the fucking things which is pretty much just porn. Like if Met-Art was a book only operation it wouldn't have nearly the success it does.

Honestly, contract law... like a corporate lawyer or something.

Don't want the uni debts though... I'd need a law degree.

Thing is, I've always been careful with my wording. I had an older brother that liked to twist everything I said... we'd make deals all the time and loopholes would be used, mostly by him. But I quickly learned and we'd have these battle of wits type thing just tryin' to work out a deal over who goes to McDonald's to get us food or who goes to the shop to buy cigarettes for the other in exchange for other snacks or some shit.

Honestly, I could see myself drafting up some clever little contracts with nifty little loopholes and tryin' to get one over on the other side, while they try to negotiate for a similar thing on their end.
>>
Sometimes I get an urge to write a comic book/graphic novel. I don't have any drawing ability though so even in concept the idea falls flat.

Plus I lack ambition. Whenever I try to work the story out I get everything ready and then stop caring.

Same here. Dad was a Nam vet and I always wanted to be a soldier, got rejected for mental illness. Waiting for death here too.

Have you ever seen FTV videos? I kind of wish I could do something like that. Just getting to know girls, have them be silly and show their body in public, masturbate for you, do little dances, etc. I like FTV because you get some idea of their personality.
>>
I want to sail the open oceans, transporting people to other countries. I guess a travel boat where the customers are my crew.
>>
I wanted to be a pilot but flight school is like $15,000 to even start or 8+ years and a whole bunch of tests in the navy. Making things worse is I live in a town that has one of the cheapest flight schools in the US and I get to see all types of young Europeans living the dream I wanted. They all have the same uniform so they're easy to spot.

Frankly, I have no idea. There's really nothing that I really enjoy doing. Does anyone feel that way? No real pleasure, let alone skill or talent.

If we're going with pipe dreams, I'd say revolutionary leader. I think I have the profile of a generalist that it would take.

I'd like to be a translator.
>travel
>just listen and talk to people and get paid
>if you're fluent this all comes naturally and is no work at all, you're basically just being paid to exist

Too bad I was born in Amerikkka where teaching your kids a foreign language is the work of the devil. I know someone who speaks English, Polish, and Russian, and she gets jobs thrown at her just because she knows those three languages.

I would love to start my own NEET radio call-in show. Where I'd offer advice on how to stay NEET and get through all the bureaucracy so that they can get every benefit they're entitled to. While playing some good clasical music, News discussion and mocking wagies.

You could actually start this up fairly easily be live streaming a podcast and allowing people to call in with skype. I've seen people do it, you should try it. Put it on youtube after for shekels and a nice paypal donation button to boot.

I would do the same. The robot could advertise on /r9k/ for a small following and hopefully branch out to a bigger market after.

I change my answer this is what I'd want to do.
>>
Realistic
>purchasing agent. Spending thousands to millions of dollars of a company's money and making sales people at your suppliers your bitch
>lab manager. Manage people doing the same science all day every day. Obsess over data and drool over fancy lab equipment

Fantasy
>landscaper. have a truck, 3 crazy white guys, tools, and a radio. Go around taking care of rich people's yards while keeping an eye out for hot cardio bunnies in the neighborhood. Bang a few millionaire wives because the husbands are fat and never around.
>househusand. Do 3-4 hours of real work between cooking, cleaning, and home maintenance. Have plenty of time for fun things or just being an alcoholic.
>>
>>27616550
yeah but its just one piece. Actually being able to see the locations and characters and action would bring it together
>>
>>27616576
I was about to say, I would pay for a few things translated right now. How far along in learning are you?
>>

>want to be a writer because everyone tells me I'm good at writing
>have nothing to write about
>hate what I have written because it's actually trash
>writing is nothing but a paradoxical component of my identity now

Anyone else?

My dream job is obviously to be some presumably misunderstood, highly regarded, brooding artist that shits on his fans and critics and fucks attractive alt girls in some posh apartment in a fashionable city.

any job where i could sit and have relatively unmonitored access to a PC or my own laptop computer. just to do worksafe stuff like reading, listening to podcasts, playing games etc during down time. wouldn't care if i had to actually work as well, if i had freedom to chill when it's not busy. basically like hanging out at home, just hanging out at [work] instead and being on hand to do things when there are things to do.

i don't know how i'd get a job like that though since it seems like it would vary based entirely on whoever is the boss. most managers watch like a hawk in my experience to make sure that all employees are always standing and at attention 100% of the time to maximize productivity. there's a small town gas station nearby hiring, cash only no uniforms and only one on duty most of the time so it seems relatively laid back. not like those big chain stores that like to be a pain in the ass about policy all the time.

I'm Working as QA/Tester.

Idk what I really WANT so that's one of the reasons I dropped out (also work).

Started to get interest in Cybernetics/Self-Regulating Systems lately.

Maybe SysAdmin OR IT Security Specialist in the long run, but I doubt it.

Some type of overnight cleaner, come in at like 11pm, sweep, mop, polish the floors. Spend the entire night alone in an empty building, leave at like 7pm. Would be awesome.
