What if you aren't the MC and you're actually the villain?
>>27611127
We are not MCs nor villians, we are the background characters in the lifes of others.
>>27611127
What kind of villian?
Am I the one with arguably better goals than the MC or am I lmaosoedgy. I wouldn't mind being a little like Griffith however I couldn't make his sacrifices.
In all likelihood, however, my story is likely one without any major conflict or drama. Like a slice of life with generally dark tone of humor.
>>27611127
I wish, I would have an undead harem and a big ass dark castle.
>>27611146
>lifes
Now you understand why you're just an NPC.
>>27611127
For most of my life that was likely the case, but now? Anti-hero at best.
>>27611146
>tfw you're an extra in your own life
That's really cool, I'd rather be the villain.
>tfw nobody left to antagonize
>season finale is you killing your waifu
>>27611174
Same here. I feel like either a ssupport character or im in a slice of life that is just entertaining enough to not be boring but in a depressing "lets laugh at his misfortune" kind of way. Hope that makes sense.
>>27611127
More like the tragic heroes who get forgotten by his times.
>>27611127
Im convinced the majority of you guys are completely bonkers.
>>27611127
i am a villain
Who cares? I'll never be like the best villain.
>>27611178
Jeffrey Dahmer actually tried to construct your vision in real life but the meddling cops had to put an end to it.
To be a villain I would have to have some sort of relationship with society. Unless you're some sort of normie who thinks I'm ruining society by not getting married and having kids.
I'm the poorly drawn extra who appears for few seconds.
>tfw finally got out of the antihero arc of my life
Hero and villain arcs were good, though.
>>27612858
this just a shitty still image
>>27611127
Nah, I'm nothing and so are you.
nope. I'm pretty sure I'm the comic relief character, as most things that have happened in my life seem to be he butt of a joke or are just plain ridiculous.
>>27611127
I'm neither.
I'm the henchman guarding the entrance to the villain's hideout who gets killed long distance to start the final action scene.
It's not even one of the coolest death scenes in the movie.
>>27611127
I play guitar and I'm good at it so I guess I'm the villain the MC will somehow defeat in a shred battle thanks to the power of friendship.
I get that it was meant to be a funny reversal of a typical fantasy premise. Instead of some kid going to a fantasy world to be the hero, the demon king comes to the real world and gets a shitty minimum wage part time job at McDonalds. Haha, very funny, but it just really depressed me. I feel like it's a little too representative of reality. A whole generation of boys raised on fantasy, dreaming of being a hero and beating the final boss. Then forced into working at some soulless corporate business for a small pay. You don't beat the bosses irl, you work for them and hope they tolerate your tiny existence. We're all just a bunch of nameless disposable henchmen.
IDK man it WAS a pretty funny series. I guess you could take it another way, embrace the suck and try to enjoy what you can. Indulging in your escapist hero fantasies on your own time.
>>27611127
bitch, i'm the narrator
>>27611127
>What if you aren't the MC and you're actually the villain?
This is what I have been trying to do all my life
To never be the protagonist in my life but the antagonist in the lives of others
>>27614504
>trying
You either are an antagonist or you aren't. If you're being some try-hard pussy faggot you're not fooling anyone, especially not yourself.
>>27614563
>you either are or you aren't
that logic is in itself self-defeating
a man can not be something he tries to be, as much as he can be something he tries not to be
I'm more like an extra in my own personal life
>>27611174
I'd like to be Johan from Monster. Aware of the futility of existence, using my vast, superior cunning and intelligence to fuck around with people just for the sake of it
>>27611127
If you view yourself as anymore than the Krillin of your story you think of yourself too highly.
>>27614690
I think of myself as an anti-hero. I've got a dark and brooding past, a lot of horrible shit that I've done, but I've gone through great pains to make something good out of my life despite my many failings and weaknesses. I take an active role in my life, and I don't have anyone to overshadow me. Comparing myself to someone like Krillin would be inaccurate at best.
I realize that I sound completely full of myself, but I'm being completely honest.
>>27614690
>implying krillin wouldn't be an upgrade
It's simple.
Wagecucks are MC
NEETs are villains.
>>27614864
wagecucks are the peasants, chads are the MCs
>>27614690
>If you view yourself as anymore than the Krillin of your story you think of yourself too highly
it's my story you cuckold
i'm the MC
same applies to you and everyone else here
stop pretending you aren't responsible for your actions
>tfw you're just a background NPC
I want to be a cute anime girl, is that too much to ask for?
>>27615378
And who are you asking?
We aren't even background NPCs. We are more like time gated NPCs that only come out of their houses at odd hours.
