People like you are the exact reason why I hate tf2 and CSS.

People take online shooters way too seriously and obviously the go to response is "you just suck at the game".

Sometimes I want to play a pvp game casually. Obviously I'm not going to be the best and shouldn't complain if I die a lot but it's like calm tf down it's just a game. The games all feel the same after a while because everyone uses the same tryhard tactics over and over

You're bad and your reflexes are bad. I play for the adrenaline when you come into a tight spot and emerge the winner because you're faster than the two guys you just came around the corner on. That is the joy of fps games. Rpgs have no adrenaline rush.

Scarface is satire on multiple levels. It's not just "lol greedy drug dealers." I can understand if you don't enjoy the movie, but it's certainly not as simple as you think.

Xenocide was basically the perfect balance Ender's post-Earth drama, space politics, and Card's philosophy. Children of the Mind is when Card just went full on wannabe Plato.

>What is good about Borges?
Easily digestible short stories with themes that stick with you long after finishing. The prose is concise and understated, even when he deals with complex ideas. That also makes them read well even in translation. For me he's good because they're stories exploring a philosophical, logical, literary, etc, theme. He begins with a concept and builds a compelling little tale around it. If you've read Calvino's Invisible Cities there's definite similarities to be drawn.

Also, I was debating between The Shining and Alien for me choice. Both favourites. I'm not /lit/ enough to have tackled the meme-trilogy, but Infinite Jest is certainly on my reading pile.

Yeah, my favorite mainstream shit in rock is Nirvana, JHE, and SRV. I listen to a multitude of genres though. A lot of stuff you've probably never heard of, no big deal. *rides away on fixie*

I actually should have put this album, my current jam. It's jazz/funk. They used to call it jazz fusion but they started calling it acid jazz in the 90s.

I like Gnarls Barkley and Immortal Technique, have listened to lots of rap/hip-hop that I like but I couldn't name anyone else off the top of my head. It's likely that robots just like other genres more, not that they don't like it at all.

Excellent taste in film, not crazy about the rest. Never considered my taste in film to be too pretentious or patrician, the movie that I listed is the inspiration for one of the most iconic villains of all time and inspiration for a lot of other pop culture as well.

Makes sense, thanks for replying. Animal Crossing is more like Harvest Moon than The Sims desu, but it is very addicting so you dodged a bullet there. Thanks anon.

Genuine question as this is an area of philosophy I am currently exploring: How do you reconcile Kantian metaphysics with the distortion of space-time as layed out my Einstein's theories of relativity. If you accept Kant's transcendental subject, as I believe Schopenhauer does, then you believe that space and time are a priori intuition, completely reliant on the subject of spatio-temporal phenomena. But relativity seems to suggest that space exists independently and warps objectively under the influence of matter, not merely a subject structuring of phenomena.

I find Kantian-Schopenhaurian philosophy compelling but I can't seem to get past this stumbling block. Transcendental idealism seems to have been ignored/rejected in the 20th century because of it.

Lmao, oblivion is broken. The leveling is broken as hell. I like it more than the other two, yes, it's comfy, but it's broken and not good in terms of balance.

Here's how to be a god (not including the 20% chameleon x5 technique)

>breton
>apprentice
>choose skills that you don't use often as your major skills
>as your minor skills increase your stats get a bonus boost, therefore focus on three attributes governed minor skills to get a +5 to each attribute per level this causes you to twink
>death spell: 100% weakness to magic, shock, frost, and fire for 1 sec, drain health 100pts 1 sec, damage health, shock, frost, and fire to maximum damage based on your destruction level this is a one hit kill

Collect reflect damage, reflect spell, and shield enchanted items. Once you get to trancendent sigil stones they will drop high shield and reflect damage stones.

Wear light and heavy armor simultaneously, this will level agility and strength at the same time.

Obviously, make training spells like weakness to magic on self, summon for 1 sec, shield for one sec, etc to level magic skills

Use smaller weapons to level faster, each hit is a exp point so the faster you hit the quicker you level. Hand to hand levels fastest because of this.

It's broken.

You can't handle pitting yourself against others because you lose. It's all about the extacy of winning and besting another person. Final Fantasy is boring as hell. It must be so fulfilling to play a game with no competition that you become good at just by throwing hours at it without any real strategy and learning. No matter how much I try other people will be better at my games, that's why it's challenging. You are a bitch, that's why you don't like a challenge. You probably get stressed out and feel bad when your team all mock your ineptitude and stupidity.
