I studied communication and multimedia design.
It's a blanket education for anything media and communication and it's far too broad for its own good. I can do a bit of webdesign, filming, editing, animation, coding, boardgame design, videogame design, marketing and promotion yadda yadda. Master of none. I graduated last August and have since only applied for one position (because I lack experience and know I won't get jobs anyway), which I didn't get because of lack of portfolio. Most graduates start their own company in webdesign because the field is bullshit and I expect it to not be accredited in a few years. In the meantime Im trying to figure out where I want to specialize in. Probably illustration or graphic design. I'm applying for some random work until my portfolio is good and big enough to show. I'm also working on digital painting and drawing skills because I'm making a videogame with some other people, which is almost a meme at this point but we're driven enough to make it happen. Won't win any prizes and I'm sure it won't sell at all, but it's good experience.
