This is interesting, but I have a different theory.

So, let's break down men in general. 10% are Chad. 10% are autist neckbeards. The other 80% are relatively normal guys.

Now let's look at women. I think 60-70% are actually what this guy would call "good girls." They're fine with getting with guys in that 80%. The other 30% are sluts, fatties, or girls that only want Chad.

Here's the problem. Those 70% of women are fine with guys in the 80%, and by 24 or so, they've met a guy like that and settled down into an LTR with him. Some of those "good girls" will also end up with the Chads. That leaves 10-20% of "normal guys" out in the cold, and our only options are to try and chase the girls who wanted Chad but couldn't get him, settle for "trash" or "sluts," or hope that we can catch a "good girl" when she finds herself out of a relationship for some reason.

I think that's a stereotype that /r9k/ likes to push, but it's not the reality of the majority here. If you actually read the stories that people post when they're not shitposting, a pretty sizeable chunk of "robots" seem to be relatively normal people who got "left behind" socially, either through relatively minor quirks or mistakes or just through sheer bad luck.

It's also worth saying that most of us that are into weird kinky shit are probably that way thanks to excessive porn and long-term sexual deprivation.

You can, but it's not the same. Once you're past your mid '20s, sure, you meet people, maybe add them on social media and drop a comment once in a while, but they're not like the real friends or relationships that people get when they're younger. I've got a normiebook account with probably 300 people on it, but less than ten of them are people I'd call "friends," and MAYBE two of them are "good friends."
