I worked at a Jimmy Johns until the end of Februrary when I had to leave for school. My managers were my age or younger than me but made 3x as much.

t b h I just let the kids do pretty much whatever they want, because I know they'll try to take advantage of me and won't listen to me, so why give a fuck? I put it in as little effort as possible and then go home. It's basically just a class or day off for the kids.
On one hand, it's the easiest job I've ever had, but I'm still new to it. I'm also shy and get nervous around the kids. Part of the reason I took the job was to deal with my shyness and become better at interacting with new people on the fly.

I used to be a truck driver until I got a DUI. Started out as a dog bather at a big company, then went to some bullshit "school" and you learn how to do it by actually doing them. I'm the only guy there.

I work at a phone store and it's me, the two owners, and my 28 year old coworker. They're all outgoing and can say witty shit on the fly... I'm only appreciated by the occasional older person that likes how patient I am explaining phone shit to them. I'm a fat chick so it's the worst, it's in a part of town where all the attractive people congregate and drink. But hey I haven't eaten in a couple days and I've lost 10 lbs. this week so maybe I'll be a Stacy on the outside yet. Then they won't know I'm a fucking autist until I open my mouth. God damn I hate this. I can't wait until they teach me how to actually fix the damn phones so I can put my autism to good use and I can just be like a phone-fixing troll in the back of the store that no one knows about. Its such an easy job. pay sucks but you dont really work. all i do is patrol an empty office building every 2 hours. only 'action' ive gotten was when the room containing servers was too hot. all i did was call a 800 number and someone fixed it the day after.
