Plant her in a shady area, it will be really hard to establish lady slipper they are quite sensitive. You can self-pollinate it i think its really hard and you may have to buy something to do it. good luck.

Most orchids have to have air flow around their roots or else their roots can rot pretty easy, that's why they're potted in bark and moss.
Lady slippers can actually just chill in the dirt tho!!! They like shady forest area and are rly rare to see in the wild
