the version in the pic I posted is for the NGC, yes. very easy to emulate. I also highly recommend new leaf, which is for the 3DS.
gardening is really comfy
even if you don't have a yard, you can grow things indoors.
plants are better than people, you get to watch them grow and you can name them and actually form small bonds

I know, if have them all, but I haven't played ngc, wii and ds versions years ago. The 3ds version is indeed very comfy but I still love the wii version way more :^)

How is it compared to Harvest Moon?
HM:Magical Melody is comfy as fuck. Not annoying farming, good house mechanics, nice outside options.
Other comfy shit:
Cities Skylines: Excellent city sim once modded heavily. Once you get one you like off the ground, its fun just watching vehicles go through interchanges and busy train stations.
Figure Collecting: Just rearranging them from time to time is nice.
Walking: A nice hour-long walk through the nearby park helps keep you from the suicidal thoughts creeping in.
Destiny is an insanely comfy game. Its pretty shit but the atmosphere, mood, music and overall aesthetic of it is super comfy.
I want to play some comfy vidya. but I'm too lazy and I know that I'll get bored of it anyway.
I just want a game I can play for a prolonged period of time.
