How likely is it that I could become a famous political leader like Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini or General Franco?
>>
>>27577706
>Franco

chacho do you want to be the ultimate manlet leader?
>>
>>27577724
Napoleon was a manlet among manlets and he conquered Europe. Twice.
>>
>>27577724
OP here, I am a manlet.
>>

If you're on /r9k/ then you've got no chance. You need social skills. You need charisma. You need to be able to talk in such a way that people listen to you.

>>

>>27577823
I'm pretty charismatic though. Back in school, I entered 3 public speaking competitions and won all of them.
>>
>>27577777
there you go. time to take over the world, OP
>>
>>27577706
You must start with the military. Veterans make the best and most respected leaders, especially if you win medals are become some sort of hero. All those great leaders were playing minor rolls are in the war before them. The upcoming war you must play a small role in, then after you will be able to come into your own.
>>
>>27577811
Franco was not charismatic at all, he just crushed all opposition and there was no one left to question his rule.
>>
>>27577918
And how did he get anyone to back him? You either need charisma or enough resources to force people to do what you say. And to get, and keep, those resources you need to have charisma.

Charisma doesn't mean people have to like you. It's about commanding people, it's about having people pay attention to you. It's presence and ability to convince people that you know best.
>>
>>27577758
Napoleon was average height for men of the time period
>>
>>27577777
When the world is ruled by manlet I'll remember the day of this get
>>
>>27577958
Circumstances favored him.
When the spanish civil war began, he was the last general to join the uprising, and he was selected not because of political reasons, but military ones, during the course of the war the important leaders of the national movement ended up dead, and he was the only one with enough support to assume leadership.
He was only popular among his troops, the image of Franco as a charismatic general is the product of propaganda during the dictatorship, he was a soldier, not a politician.
>>
>>27578042
Ah, fair enough. You're right.
Perhaps you can do it with minimal charisma if you can show yourself to be best candidate. And you can do that easiest if there's no charismatic opponents.
>>
>>27577883
>must start with the military.
This.
Might makes right.
>>
>>27577883

This. In the glory days of Rome, every politician was expected to have served in the military.

All the men OP listed were also military men
>>
Start by getting elected in the senate.

Hope you have a rich family with tons of connections and a background in a ivy league college

Because thats what you need in US politics at least.

I think high ranking military members have clout too actually.

It's hopeless for a robot.

You can try to be a new Mishima at best, but I strongly discourage you to commit seppuku.
