No. The average age of admittees is 35 and they were all drug abusers. They had a separate ward for "vulnerable women" and adolescents. I saw some chad male nurse 'escorting' these girls to the food ward when I went up there.

I used to hear voices all the time but that's when I was drinking and not sleeping often but not recently
I had a couple incidents in the ward though so
story time:
>want to cut self
>bend spoon until it breaks
>grind on tiles for hours
>sharpen on metal
>got out my mp3
>sit on bed
>listen to music and cut up my arms and face
>get carried away with it all
>staff come in and shocked
>take me to seclusion and have to strip off and get into special anti-tear clothing

It was quite funny. I was completely relaxed throughout the whole ordeal and just went along with it as they were scratching their heads wondering what the fuck happened. They still don't know what I used. I also drew swear words all over myself. The reason I wasn't put in the 'special' area was because I had an incident where I lost my temper and beat the shit out of a mattress I stood up against the wall until my knuckles bled so they deemed me too unsafe to be mixed with another violent guy in that area.

I've been in for 2 weeks
I told them I haven't been suicidal for about a year. I don't really have homicidal thoughts any more thanks to the anti-psychotic
They haven't let me out yet but because I've told them everything they want to hear and I'm taking the meds and I've been social and very nice to the staff as well as just improving in mood all around they deem me safe. I'll be on scheduled appointments with doctors and will have a case manager for the next 3 months though.
