I am otherwise fairly handsome and have a pretty good jawline but my chin is recessive, thus my side profile is really fucked up.

Most people in the western world have to have their wisdom teeth removed because their jaw never gets to fully develop. This could be for many reasons...poor nutrition, endocrine disruptors, weak genes allowed to survive and pass on due to medical advances...etc
