I'm 18 and I enlisted into the Army reserves in october. I go to basic in August. I don't know why but I'm panicking right now. I feel like I made a mistake by not joining the national guard, which apparently has some better benefits for schooling. I don't know how to feel better about this, I've always had an interest in the military, but I'm stressing so much about going to basic and leaving my family and loved ones behind, and even worse my possibility of being deployed. I don't know why I enlisted, I don't know if the amount of money I get is worth it, I rushed into it, and I just want to feel better about this.

Even if for whatever reason you don't get school benefits, you still get a much better resume, free training, veteran's preference on job applications, etc. Granted I would only recommend the Air Force for robots, AF gets best treatment with least amount of normies (granted every branch is jam-packed with filthy normies anyway.)
