It's boreal, gently sloping but consistent tree cover for the most part. No aboveground sources of water, the hill is an aquifer so you can get a weak artesian well out of it if you try on the right part of the property.

Haven't really settled on exact criteria, every "type" could be interesting.
Mostly I like to watch people struggle innawoods and see what they're capable of. I used to guide and do some adventure skills stuff but it'd be cool to not be responsible in the same way for the person.

Well I'm a good shot and I've gone hunting plenty in my life, so depending on how much game there is I might be able to last a year.
Hopefully we'd start in the spring so I could have the time to form a permanent shelter. I honostly think freezing would be the thing to get me, but I'm part alaskan native and I'm big so I'd last longer than most.
