One of the best things about university for me was the practice of handing out a detailed syllabus with grade distribution and type of assignments listed. Group work on syllabus was grounds for immediate drop and re-enroll in a different session with different Prof.

I had pretty much the same thing happen but in my high school senior English class. Everyone pretty much knew each other, but I was the loner quiet kid, and sat near the end too. Everyone else pretty much got most people's names right, but I only knew about a third of everyone's names, and I'd been going to school with these people since freshman year. Presentations were one of the main obstacles in grade school. I also fucking hate irl social interaction. It's why I became "home schooled" when I started 9th grade several years back. Then there was homework, if it was LA/SS (and later history) I would just write down like a paragraph, and if it was math I'd randomly answer multiple choice questions and skip open ended ones and say "I'm done".
One day I was sitting in HS, I knew I was pretty much going to fail the year because I've been absent so many times, I sit down and look at this worksheet the teacher handed out, I didn't understand any of it (hell I really wasn't even good at basic shit) and then I just said "Yeah I'm not coming back to school after today".
Been a NEET for 4 years.

Group presentations don't make sense because everyone is learning the same material usually or a slight variant on it, so they should have some tangential knowledge of the related material. Also, there's the chance of getting paired with people who don't give a fuck and don't do any work and bring you down, which is stupid because you are paying to be there and they are sabotaging you. Lastly, the presentation itself serves no purpose because the instructor should already know most of the material researched and the students aren't going to trust other students to do any worthwhile research for them.That's why I do everything by myself in those situations. If they force me to pair with someone, 9/10 times it's going to be someone who is absent a lot or someone who comes in late all the time because all the other normies have their groups sorted out before any of this becomes a possibility, increasing the likelihood of the second party causing the project grade to drop.If you are stuck in this situation, some Robot Tech I discovered is throwing your partner under the bus immediately saying they refuse to do any work and you want to dissolve the group.

The class was one of those freshman credits I never got when I was younger so I was put in there. I ended up being one of his best students and I'd get high As on almost every assignment, he practically gave me the grades because it was all easy. And during the heavy exam weeks (I was exempt due to the high scores) he let me help out downstairs with the office staff and I'd get free lunch or a couple bucks in tips from them.
Plus the fact any group I was in was almost perfect because I ended up doing most of the work while the nigger freshmen just nigg'd out together. Which was fine. I didn't want them doing their cheap project ideas anyway. He liked my work ethic.
